’Don’t worry - I work with vets too so from the outside I totally understand, but don’t stress. This is just a short term dose due to a muscle strain, not a long term medication to improve his quality of life. He does have an existing issue from when he was younger which is why Vet prescribed this particular medication, but I think you would struggle to find a more spoiled cat! He has an amazing set of vets, regular appointments and check ups for his prior health concerns, regular dental checkups, grooming appointments and hydrotherapy. Also important to note that he’s a Maine coon - it’s definitely not unusual to find him upside down and trilling to ask for belly rubs, he always makes me laugh so just trying to find the lighter side of the situation and share that with everyone!’

’Thanks for the kind wishes. Thumper was his best friend for 5 years and they would do everything together. Thumper got cancer and finally passed from it. I looked for my dog for a while and finally saw him way in the back of our property sitting by his grave. He sat there for over an hour before I went out there and took the picture.’

the feelings that i have for him nobody really knows,

we're not like other doggos - we can't hear n canno see
but when i got your scent, i knew that we two share a lot
we both have lots of love, but there are things that we ain't got
it's hard to live in silent darkness, waiting for a friend
